Industry insiders voted which movie and celebrities entered the categories of "Worst Film of 2022," "Worst Actor of 2022," and the most shocking "Actor with the Worst Manners of 2022."

In a report, media outlet Sports Kyunghyang created a poll for 34 Korean film industry officials naming films and stars that suit the category. 

The survey is based on Hollywood's ​​Golden Raspberry Awards, known for the parody award ceremony honoring the worst of projects released in the year. 

The Worst Film of 2022

For this year's awards show, Sports Kyunghyang's "Raspberry Awards" hailed the novel-based movie "Serve the People" as the "Worst Film of 2022."

Directed and penned by Jang Cheol Soo of "Secretly Greatly" the film garnered the majority of the votes with voters citing that the film features "too many sexual scenes without purpose."

Starring Yeon Woo Jin of "Thirty-Nine," Ji An, and versatile actor Jo Sung Ha, "Serve the People" got the most number of votes making it the outlet's "Worst Film of 2022."

On the other hand, landing in second place is Netflix's "Carter" which is also the big-screen comeback of Joo Won. 

The action thriller movie received 9 votes followed by the star-studded sci-fi film "Alien" in third. 

The Worst Actor of 2022

From the top three worst films of 2022, the outlet also featured the "Worst Actor of 2022."

Unfortunately, after topping the worst movie of 2022, Serve the People lead star Ji An was chosen by industry personalities as the "Worst Actor of 2022."

The actress took on the role of a commander's wife Ryu Soo Ryeon. 

According to the outlet, Ji An's "disastrous" performance looked as if she was "just reading the script" the whole time and felt bad for Yeon Woo Jin for being teamed up with the actress. 

Surprisingly, South Korean heartthrob So Ji Sub made it at second place for his performance in the sci-fi movie "Alien."

To recall, he took the role of detective Moon Do Seok who lives in the present time but ends up being chased by aliens.

For his performance in "Alien", industry insiders were dismayed with his character and acting saying that he "lacked charm" in the movie and was unlikely of him. 

The Actor with the Worst Manners of 2022

Capping off the survey is the controversial category the "Actor with the Worst Manners of 2022."

Earning the top spot is actor and producer Ma Dong Seok. 

According to the media outlet, he refused to join interviews for the blockbuster movie "The Roundup" saying that it is because of his busy schedule. 

For some, they pointed out that it is "not the proper attitude of a lead actor who has a responsibility to his production team" calling Ma Dong Seok "unprofessional".

Second place is Kim Tae Ri after she was criticized for "doodling during her interviews" at her movie "Alien."

Others even called it a "Na Hee Do-disease" referring to her Kdrama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."

For third place Nam Joo Hyuk was included due to his recent controversy.
