The actress is ready to show her different side besides acting on the small screen through her upcoming play "Shakespeare in Love."
"I think it will be a precious time to learn many things and show various images," she tells the outlet, adding that this will be her opportunity to "show a good image" as she prepares hard for the theatrical play.
Moreover, Kim Yoo Jung also expressed her love to her supporters with a special message.
"I hope that the new year will always be a year of happiness and all the things you want come true. happy new year!"
In the soon-to-premiere stage play, Kim Yoo Jung took the role of Viola de Lesseps, a daughter of a wealthy merchant who wants to become a theater actress.
Moreover, she is also the love interest of William Shakespeare. Interestingly, despite her decade-long experience acting, this will be Kim Yoo Jung's debut in a stage play.
Apart from the 23-year-old star, Jung So Min and Chae Soo Bin will also portray the character.

Joining as "Shakespeare in Love" cast are Jung Moon Sung, Lee Sang Yi, and Kim Sung Cheol who are set to play the role of William Shakespeare.
Besides the upcoming theater play, Kim Yoo Jung is set to return to the small screen with a new K-drama.
Kim Yoo Jung New Drama: Actress to Headline 'Chicken Nugget'
After her comeback movie, Kim Yoo Jung is set to appear in a webtoon-based K-drama "Chicken Nugget."
She will be working alongside lead stars Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong.
In the upcoming K-drama, Kim Yoo Jung plays Ryu Seung Ryong's daughter Choi Min Ah who turns into fried chicken after being caught up in a bizarre machine.
The K-drama also focuses on Choi Seon Man's (Ryu Seung Ryong) wish to save his daughter from mysterious sickness; hence why he comes up with a strange machine.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hong is set to portray intern Go Baek Joong. "Chicken Nugget" will also showcase a one-sided love story between Go Baek Joong and Choi Min Ah.
