"The Law Cafe" stars Lee Se Young and Lee Seung Gi mesmerize viewers with their on-screen chemistry as they play lovers in the rom-com series. 

Based on the web novel "Love According to Law" it surrounds at the love-hate relationship of former couples Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yuri who met during their college days as law students. 

Lee Se Young plays the fearless human rights lawyer Kim Yuri who quit her job to put up a law cafe and does counseling on the side. 

She unexpectedly becomes the lessee of Kim Jung Ho, her ex-boyfriend who used to be a top-tier prosecutor but becomes a web novel writer who exposes the conglomerate's illegal activities. 

Interestingly, "The Law Cafe" received multiple achievements at the KBS Drama Awards 2022 after Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young bagged the Best Couple Award.

In addition, the singer-actor also took home Daesang or Grand Prize award for his performance in "The Law Cafe" along with Joo Sang Wook in "The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won."

Although Lee Se Young wasn't able to attend the annual ceremony and at the same time win major awards, viewers were saying that she deserved recognition after delivering a great performance as Kim Yuri. 

On the other hand, while KBS has not yet confirmed if "The Law Cafe" will return with season 2, here's what's next to Lee Se Young, Lee Seung Gi, and the cast of the rom-com series.

While "The Law Cafe" is Lee Se Young's comeback to the small screen after the success of the historical K-drama "The Red Sleeve Cuf" the actress has been busy off cam. 

She graced W Korea's cover and attended various events. 

Lee Seung Gi

If Lee Se Young is booked and busy off cam, Lee Seung Gi is busy filming his return to the big screen. 

After "The Princess and the Matchmaker" in 2018, the top star is set to portray an interesting character. 

Lee Seung Gi stunned fans with his transformation as he gears up to play a monk in "Big Family."

This is amid his ongoing dispute with her then-agency Hook Entertainment. 

Jo Han Chul

Played the role of "The Law Cafe" villain Lee Pyun Woong, Jo Han Chul appeared in the recently concluded web novel "Reborn Rich" starring Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min, and Shin Hyun Bin. 

Interestingly, this 2023, the versatile actor will appear in various K-dramas starting with Gyeongseong Creature seasons 1 and 2, followed by the melodrama "Race" starring Moon So Ri. 

Kim Nam Hee

Like Jo Han Chul, Kim Nam Hee also appeared as the villain in "Reborn Rich."

After the hit series ended, he will join the cast of "Family" headlined by Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara.
