Namgoong Min Couples Up With Ahn Eun Jin In New Romance Series
Following the success of his legal drama "One Dollar Lawyer," Namgoong Min returns to the small screen with a new MBC drama opposite actress Ahn Eun Jin!
On January 13, broadcast network MBC confirmed that Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin will headline the upcoming series "Lovers."
The new MBC series is a historical romance work that depicts the fateful meeting of a man who vows to remain single forever and a woman who dreams to fall in love again after her two failed marriages.
In the series, Namgoong Min takes on the role of Lee Jang Hyun, a man who exudes incredible enigma. Unlike many others, he doesn't find joy in anything, not until he meets a beautiful woman who has a stronger will to live than him.
Ahn Eun Jin transforms into Yoo Gil Chae, a woman born to a noble family who possesses great beauty. Because of this, she thinks everything revolves around her. When she falls in love and gets heartbroken, she gradually matures.
In the series, they will realize how difficult it is to love and be loved in return.

Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin are expected to display their outstanding acting chops and synchronization with their characters, and depict the beauty of romance while navigating their differences.

The new MBC series marks Namgoong Min's first ever historical drama in years, and his much awaited return to the small screen after "One Dollar Lawyer."
On the other hand, "Lovers" is also Ahn Eun Jin's comeback work this 2023, after decorating the entertainment scene with "Hospital Playlist" and "The One and Only."
Expectations are through the roof as Namgoong Min, who's known for his comical and emotive skills, meets Ahn Eun Jin, who's equipped with the ability to adapt and showcase great synergy with anyone she works with.
