Park So Dam reveals heartbreaking messages she received from a netizen.

The actress recently got back from all her on-screen activities after a brief hiatus due to her illness.

To recall, her agency, Artist Company, announced last December 2021 that she have completed her surgery after being diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. Because of her health status, she needs to go on a brief hiatus and announced that she will not participate in promotional activities for her movie "Special Delivery."

Now, as the 31-year-old star promotes her new film "Phantom" Park So Dam also shared how a netizen has been sending her hate messages since 2020.

In her Instagram, the actress showed received showing heartbreaking DMs she got from a follower.

As translated by a media outlet, the messages sent Since September 2020 which include words insulting Park So Dam and questing how she got the female lead in a project.

"I'm a fan of ____ but I don't watch it because of you, b**** lol. Your face is total s*** I can't believe this is the face of the female lead, have some decency lol Are you happy that you are the lead with ____ by risking these malicious comments lol The world had become so much better" the DM reads.

In addition, the same user also called Park So Dam "ugly" and "ambitious" for taking a lead role and even mentioned that she only became popular thanks to the award-winning film "Parasite."

Moreover, the person also advised the actress to do a "reality" check and mentioned that she is "hated online."

After a few years, the user sent Park So Dam a message dated January 22, 2023, wishing the actress an awful situation.

"Why didn't you just die from cancer, [I can't believe] you kept going as an actress tsk tsk," the netizen said.

On the other hand, the actress responded respectfully and promised to "continue her activities diligently."

After the actress shared her posts, fans expressed how they are disgusted with the hate message that Park So Dam received.

Netizens pointed out how the actress don't deserve to be treated like this, with some urging others to be kind.

On the other hand, others believe that Park Bp Gum's fandom was the reason behind Park So Dam's online hate since the duo both starred in the 2020 hit series "Record of Youth" where they portrayed lead characters along with Byun Woo Suk.
