On January 26, starring three of the famous stars in the industry today Kim Hye Soo, Jo In Sung, and Yum Jung Ah, fans and viewers were surprised after watching the newly released trailer of the forthcoming movie "Smugglers."
It is a new action crime film set in 1970 in a small and quiet village by the sea. "Escape from Mogadishu," "The Battleship Island" director Ryoo Seung Wan is the creative mind behind the movie.

The published trailer teases the refreshing and thrilling adventure of the characters. The smugglers go back and forth between land and water. While busy living their lives as deep sea divers, Kim Hye Soo and Yum Jung Ah end up being entangled with Jo In Sung. Park Jung Min and others are said to be part of the smuggling scheme.
Accompanying the video teaser is the movie's poster, which features the silhouettes of our female lead Kim Hye Soo and Yum Jung Ah, who are unexpectedly caught up in a high-stakes smuggling scheme.
Furthermore, Go Min Si, Kim Jong Soo, and more are expected to have participation in the project.
Though there's no confirmed date yet, the production hints that "Smugglers" might meet the viewers in theaters starting the summer of this year.

"Smugglers" will mark Jo In Sung and Kim Hye Soo's return to the silver screen. It is also their first movie collaboration this 2023.

Meanwhile, Jo In Sung's last project was in 2021 with the film "Escape From Mogadishu." Apart from his big return to the home theater, the "It's Okay, That's Love" actor is also set to make his long-awaited small-screen comeback this year.
He is booked to headline the thriller drama "Moving" alongside Han Hyo Joo, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryoo Seung Ryong, Kim Sung Kyun, Kim Hee Won, Moon Sung Geun, and more. The production has already begun filming and is already discussing when the drama will hit primetime this 2023.
