On February 6, "Oasis" shared the scene of the script reading which was attended by the lead stars Seol In Ah, Jang Dong Yoon, Chu Young Woo, the director, producers and more.
"Oasis" tells the story of three young adults who work hard to achieve their dreams amidst the turbulence of '80s South Korea. It also depicts the dreams, friendships and romance of the trio.
During the script reading, director Han Hee and scriptwriter Jung Hyung Soo praised Seol In Ah, Jang Dong Yoon and Chu Young Woo's chemistry and individual charms.
Seol In Ah plays the role of Oh Jung Shin, a beautiful student who transfers to Seoul. She becomes the catalyst of romance between two adolescent boys.
The actress expressed her aspirations for the drama, saying that she wants the work to be an "oasis" to the viewers, a source of happiness and comfort, especially after a long day at work.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon and Chu Young Woo, who play the role of Lee Doo Hak and Choi Cheol Woong, also flaunted their youthful images, proving that they're perfect for their respective roles.
