On February 8, a representative from broadcast network tvN confirmed that Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara accepted the offer to couple up once again in an upcoming work.
"Family" (working title) deals with a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as an office worker and a sweet husband to his wife who dreams of living an ordinary life.
In the series, Jang Hyuk plays the role of Kwon Do Hoon, a NIS agent with knife-sharp combat skills and a loving husband to his wife Kang Yu Ra.

Meanwhile, Jang Nara takes on the role of Kang Yu Ra, a homemaker who projects the family she dreams of while keeping a secret that could crush her life-long goals.

The production team of the series guarantees an enjoyable watching experience, especially that the work marks the actors' fourth meeting after "Success Story of a Bright Girl," "Fated to Love You" and "Old Goodbye."

Chae Jung Ahn transforms into an armament specialist Oh Cheon Ryeon. Because of the lonely life she has lived, she helps NIS agent Kwon Do Hoon from ending up single like herself.
Meanwhile, Kim Nam Hee portrays Tae Goo, an unwelcome guest who crashes Kwon Do Hoon and Kang Yu Ra's humble home.
The two equally talented stars join the cast of "Family" with different motives; one wishes to keep the family intact while the other desires for them to crumble.
