In response to this, Lee Da In clarified the air through her agency, 9ATO Entertainment, and confirmed that she indeed legally changed her birth name in the summer of 2022.
Born Lee Joo Hee, Lee Da In changed her name to Lee Ra Yoon in June 2022 after her mother, actress Kyeon Mi Ri, approved of this.

The actress' mother married her father, Lee Hong Heon, in 1998 and adopted her and her sister, actress Lee Yu Bi. Her older sister also changed her name from Lee Yu Bi to Lee So Yul for the same reason.
Both names are sacred to Buddhists, in which both sisters are devoted to. In addition to that, both actresses retained their stage names.
With that, Lee Seung Gi will marry long-term partner Lee Da In while carrying her legal birth name Lee Ra Yoon in April.

Lee Seung Gi wrote on his personal Instagram account that he plans to spend the rest of his life with Lee Da In, his beloved. Lee Seung Gi shared, "I proposed to her and she said yes."
