Five Fun Facts About Ko Joon Hee
Some overnight successes are a long time in the making. That was the case for actress Ko Joon Hee. After acting for 12 years and appearing in the dramas "The Chaser" and "Queen of Ambition," she is suddenly very much in demand. It may have to do with her roles in the films "Marriage Blue" and "Red Carpet." Or it may be the result of her appearance on the show "We Got Married" earlier this year, when she was paired up with 2 AM's Jinwoon.
Here are a few facts you may not know about her:
- She's bold but also easily embarrassed. She once asked "Pretty Man" Jang Geun Suk for his phone number. And he told reporters about it.
First, the actor said that Ko Joon Hee was not like any other actress that he had ever known.
"She's really different from the other actresses," said Jang Geun Suk. "She's super cool. Other actresses are really hard to deal with sometimes."
The two quickly became friends but then he caused her to blush.
"She asked me for my number so I gave it to her," he told reporters as her face turned red.
2. Her nickname is "Fashionstar" because of her hairstyle and the clothes and accessories she wore while on "We Got Married."
"I'm grateful for my nickname," said Ko Joon Hee. "But I'm really surprised to hear that clothing I wore sells well. I also see that people look online for the Ko Joon Hee hairstyle and the whole situation seems surreal to me."
But she really doesn't shop that often or prefer luxurious clothing. She will find one thing she likes and buy the item in different colors.
2. Her ideal man has to have a healthy appetite, because she is always hungry.
"When I eat lunch, I'm thinking about what I'm going to have for dinner," she said. "Similar taste buds would be helpful in addition to having a hearty appetite."
3. She thinks less about when she will get married than she does about when she will have a child.
" I think perhaps I should give birth to a baby before I reach 35," said Ko Joon Hee. She's 28.
4. She won't let herself take a break, as she is happy to be working so much.
"No matter how hard it is for me physically, I am delighted to be working so much," she said. "So I try to stay cheerful even when I feel overwhelmed. One day when I look back to this time in my life, it will be a fond memory."
