4 Intriguing ‘The Glory’ Theories You Need To Know Ahead of Part 2
Thanks to its gripping narrative and realistic portrayal of pain, hatred and grief, Netflix Korea's "The Glory" starring Song Hye Kyo is one of the best works that were ever released in the past years.
This March 2023, its second half is about to hit the screen in hopes to tie all loose ends that were left alone in Part 1. Here are four mysteries that will be unlocked in "The Glory" Part 2!
1. Moon Dong Eun's Cosmetic Transformation
Many viewers speculate that Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) will become Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), quite literally.
In the series, Park Yeon Jin burned the other with a hair straightener which left scars in her body. Fans predicted that the table will be turned as Moon Dong Eun burns the other alive.
In addition to that, Moon Dong Eun has sworn that Park Yeon Jin is her "dream," which could also mean that she might want to be her through plastic surgery with the help of Joo Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hyun), a plastic surgeon and Moon Dong Eun's executioner.
2. Joo Yeo Jeong Pleads Insanity
It's not only Moon Dong Eun who wants to get revenge from the people who wronged her in the past. Joo Yeo Jeong also has an unfinished business of his own.
Born in a family of doctors, Joo Yeo Jeong lost his father to murder after a mentally ill patient killed him during a patient visitation.
In Part 1, the killer who's locked up inside the prison continues to send Joo Yeo Jeong letters, taunting him to death. All his life, he plans on how to kill his father's murderer, which was also the reason why he was so ready to kill for Moon Dong Eun.
Fans believe that Joo Yeo Jeong will turn himself in to the police when he finishes killing the people who wronged Moon Dong Eun, and finally face the killer who took his father away from him.

In the recently uploaded teaser, Joo Yeo Jeong promises someone that he will show him the kind of hell he's been living for a long time, amplifying tension.
3. Who Will Die? Who Will Live?
In the newly published poster for "The Glory Part 2," a reminiscent of the Garden of Eden is depicted.
Morning glory, the flower that symbolizes Moon Dong Eun's life, is in full bloom, which mirrors her successful revenge.
Moon Dong Eun stands beside Joo Yeo Joong while the people around them sport melancholic expressions on their faces, which arouses talk whether they will die or live in Part 2.

Fans believe that Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il), Park Yeon Jin, Choi Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young) and Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), who are on the left side of the poster, will live.
This was because a ray of sunlight was seen on their side, symbolizing a new beginning. Meanwhile, darkness envelops Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), Son Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo) and Kang Hyeon Nam's (Yeom Hye Ran) side, which could mean their impending death.
4. Moon Dong Eun's Dead Twin Sister
Perhaps the most reaching speculation is that Moon Dong Eun has a twin sister whom Park Yeon Jin and her friends killed before she became their target.
In the teaser, two young Moon Dong Eun (Jung Ji So) can be seen; one is happy and one dons a morose expression, leading viewers to believe that Moon Dong Eun has a twin.
Speculations state that her sister had killed herself due to the depressing situation, and this drove Moon Dong Eun to avenge her sister and herself to their perpetrators.
