With the popularity of "Reborn Rich," the child star who played the role of young Song Joong Ki, took the spotlight and amazed viewers with his acting skills.
Kim Kang Hoon played the role of young Jin Do Joon in the hit JTBC series, alongside lead stars Lee Sung Min, Song Joong Ki, and Shin Hyun Bin.
The young actor played the role of third-generation chaebol, whose grandfather is the founder of Korea's top-notch conglomerate, Sunyang Group, run by Jin Yang Chul (Lee Sung Min).
During the series' broadcast, Kim Kang Hoon gained praise from viewers, lauding him for his undeniable portrayal of Jin Do Joon. However, he once revealed that he used to get malicious comments from netizens.

During his appearance in "DOOL School chatterbox" back in 2020, the 15-year-old child star shared that he "rarely watch the dramas and TV shows" that he starred in.
To recall, besides "Reborn Rich," he also joined the cast of the award-winning series "When the Camella Blooms" where he portrayed the son of Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Ji Suk.

In addition to Kim Kang Hoon's slew of notable series, he also made appearances in "Kingdom Season 2" as the young Crown Prince, "Start-Up" as the younger version of Nam Joo Hyuk, "Mouse," and a lead role in "Racket Boys."
Following his stardom, the child star couldn't help but receive negative feedback from viewers. Kang Kang Hoon confessed that he received malicious comments, but what struck the viewers the most is his mature answer.
"There are a lot of malicious comments," he said and shared how he usually deals with this type of criticism.
"I think it's profitable to do something else instead of caring about these comments. It's better not to read them," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.
With his interesting response, netizens expressed how they are amazed by Kim Kang Hoon's actions despite being a teen.
Others noted that not reading the hateful comments is a "wise idea" while others joked around that he "doesn't have time to read malicious comments" because he is born to lead Sunyang, referring to the fictional company in "Reborn Rich."
What's Next for Kim Kang Hoon This 2023?
After "Reborn Rich" he made a cameo in "Kokdu: Season of Deity" episode 2 and played the role of creator. The fantasy series stars Im Soo Hyang and Kim Jung Hyun.
As for the big screen, Kim Kang Hoon will be joining in the upcoming film "The Match" and is set to play the role of young Yoo Ah In.
