'Sumbisori' Marks Lee Sun Bin's Big Screen Comeback
Based on a report by a media outlet on March 13, Lee Sun Bin is confirmed to star in the new film "Sumbisori."
According to the released synopsis "Sumbisori" refers to the sound that a 'haenyeo' makes after resurfacing from the water. She is a female diver that harvests sea life for a living. The movie features the story of three generations of women, who have lived their lives as 'haenyeos'
Lee Sun Bin takes the role of Goo Hae Jin, she will show the struggles of youth while powerfully expressing her relationship with her grandmother and mother. In addition, the whole project is said to be filmed on Jeju Island, capturing the picturesque scenery of the island as well as the lives of haenyeos.

"Sumbisori" marks Sun Bin's first movie this 2023. Her last film was in 2022 with "Toxic." The actress made a strong and comical impression on viewers with her latest K-drama, "Work Later, Drink Now."
