Jung Sung Il possesses alluring bravado that draws attention. Just like his character in "The Glory," the actor is a complete enigma to K-Drama fans.

Despite being in his early 40s, he still certainly makes everyone swoon with his godly visuals and aura. Here are three things you should know about Jung Sung Il.

1. Jung Sung Il is extremely talented.

Before diving into the realm of films, Jung Sung Il has already made a name for himself in the theater scene!

The actor made his debut in 2000 in the play "A Praise of Youth" which kick started his career in the field. Since then, he showed off his powerful vocals and dancing skills in plays like "Mio Fratello," which was a huge success due to its sold-out shows.

This 2023, he stars as Oh Jung Jin in "Beautiful Sunday," a play depicting the lives of broken people who discover the beauty of love while overcoming life's unexpected hurdles.

2. He celebrates his 15th anniversary as an actor this 2023.

Though he began acting in 2000, it wasn't until 2008 that Jung Sung Il began appearing in terrestrial shows and big screens.

Jung Sung Il made his silver screen debut as a royal guard in the classic film "A Frozen Flower" starring Song Ji Hyo and Jo In Sung.

As for long haul dramas, Jung Sung Il also took on the challenge and headlined notable series like "Birthcare Center," "Bad And Crazy," "Our Blues" and more.

3. Jung Sung Il is a "nice bastard."

According to "The Glory" screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, Jung Sung Il is a kind hearted punk due to the actor's duality.

The screenwriter reasoned that Jung Sung Il could be coldhearted and mean but he can switch back to being nice without any hassle.

Kim Eun Sook also added that it was one of the reasons why she handpicked the actor for his role as Ha Do Young.

In particular, Jung Sung Il also played the role of an indifferent and overbearing husband to Shin Min Ah in the life drama "Our Blues."

Despite the high praises for his acting performances, Jung Sung Il remains humble, saying that he's up for a challenge even if certain roles intimidate him.

On the other hand, the actor wishes to play "unhinged" and psychotic characters in the future like Namgoong Min's roles in his dramas "Remember: War of the Son" and "The Girl Who Sees Smells."
