Kim Sae Ron Reportedly Caught Gambling Amid Financial Struggle Claims

Kim Sae Ron faces another controversy after the actress was reportedly spotted gambling, despite her claims of having financial difficulties.

The former child star continues to be the center of negative publicity after she made a public appearance during her first trial regarding the drunk driving incident that happened in 2022.

During the trial, she expressed regret and apologized for causing inconvenience and damage to the merchant and the whole neighborhood. Kim Sae Ron also shared that she already quit smoking.

Moreover, the actress said she is experiencing financial struggles given that she is the family's breadwinner. To make ends meet, she sold her car while her agency previously mentioned she is working part-time jobs at a cafe.

However, instead of receiving sympathy from the public, Kim Sae Ron has been receiving online hate and backlash as they doubt the actress's claim regarding her current status.

Now, a media outlet revealed that an eyewitness saw the actress playing cards at Holdeom bar.

In a report cited by SBS Entertainment News, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star was spotted together with her friends and reportedly visited the bar frequently.

The establishment is a known bar where customers could have a drink and at the same time play poker.

Based on the outlet, a source said that the former child star "spent time playing Holdeom with a famous male gamer/YouTuber." And from the looks of it, Kim Sae Ron is unbothered "about the gaze of people around," according to the eyewitness.

Moreover, the person claimed that the controversial actress was spotted "stacking chips and enjoying Holdeom at the Holdeom bar."

Besides the YouTuber, Kim Sae Ron was also seen hanging around "very famous male singer at drinking parties" and appears to be enjoying her "very lively social life."

Unfortunately, this is why the public doubts the actress' claims regarding her financial struggles.

Franchise Coffee Says Kim Sae Ron is Not their Employee

Days after her first trial, Kim Sae Ron's Instagram features a series of photos of the actress working at a cafe, donning the company's apron and uniform.

However, shortly after the said post was uploaded, reports say that Mega Coffee, the franchise cafe seen on the actress' post, told media that she was never employed at any of their chain locations.

It was Kim Sae Ron's friend who used to work at one of their shops but not the actress.

A representative also mentioned that the dark kitchen featured on her post is not from their stores.

"Our stores don't have a separate baking kitchen," the representative added.
