'Black Knight' Stars Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, More To Meet Fans Ahead of Drama Premiere

The long wait is finally over. In just two weeks, as of this writing, Kim Woo Bin will greet the fans and viewers with his new series "Black Knight."

But before the much-anticipated premiere, the actor and the cast are said to be preparing for a special gathering.

On April 24, online streaming giant, Netflix dropped an announcement on their social media channels stating that a "Black Knight" fan event is about to happen.

According to the post, there will be an application that fans need to do, and it will run until April 28.

In addition, the winners, which will be announced on May 2, reportedly have the chance to meet the cast of the drama.

Furthermore, on May 10, "Black Knight" director Cho Eui Seok including lead actors Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, Kang Yoo Seok, and Lee Soo Yeon are expected to be present at the fan event.

What We Know So Far About Netflix's 'Black Knight'

Based on a webtoon, "Black Knight," penned by Lee Yun Kyung, features the story of a Black Knight named 5-8 who delivers and supplies oxygen in a world where people cannot survive without it due to air pollution.

His new journey will unfold after meeting a refugee named April.

Kim Woo Bin takes the role of 5-8. "Black Knight" marks his first drama following tvN's "Our Blues" in 2022. This drama is also his first collaboration with director Cho Eui Seok after seven years, whom he already worked with in the movie "Master."

Portraying the villain role for the first time, Song Seung Heon plays Ryu Seok, the successor of a company that monopolizes oxygen.

Meanwhile, Kang Yoo Seok will take the role of April, a refugee who admires 5-8. Lee Soo Yeon, on the other hand, is Seol Ah, a military intelligence officer who saved April's life.

Netflix also dropped photo and video teasers of the upcoming series giving the viewers a glimpse on what to anticipate from "Black Knight."

The action-adventure K-drama, which is composed of six episodes, will premiere on May 12 on Netflix.
