K-drama leading man Jang Ki Yong shared the composure and worries he felt after finishing his military service in video interview with Vogue.

While waiting for his acting comeback, Jang Ki Yong delights fans with his collaboration with the fashion magazine Vogue. In the last week of April, the famous publishing company unveiled pieces of snaps exuding the actor's strong charisma.

On May 1, Vogue Korea dropped the much-awaited interview of the male star on their YouTube channel. The video is titled "Vogue Meets."

In the clip, Jang Ki Yong candidly shared that after his military service, he has been exercising and staying healthy while eating the food he wanted to eat. He also has more time to meet his parents, friends, and other colleagues.

The "My Roommate is a Gumiho" star said that his life changed following his military discharge.

"I was busy working before joining the military, so I was busy looking forward to it, but after being discharged, I think I have been able to think and relax in many ways."

Jang Ki Yong added, "I am also calmly and heavily thinking of how I can show you again my appearance as an actor in the future, I would appreciate it if the fans wait with enthusiasm."

The heartthrob also mentioned that since it's been a long time since he greeted his fans, he is thinking a lot about how he will approach them with a better appearance soon.

Jang Ki Yong admitted that he feels a little awkward facing the cameras again after a long time. However, he tried to look for other ways how he could bring back that confidence in order to meet his fans comfortably once he started working on his projects.

Meanwhile, the "Now, We Are Breaking Up" actor is being courted to headline the action-fantasy drama "Although I Am Not a Hero" (literal title). If he accepts the project, he is expected to portray the male protagonist who loses his superpowers due to modern disease.

It will be helmed by "SKY Castle" director Cho Hyun Tak and the script will be penned by "Marriage Not Dating" writer Joo Hwa Mi.

Jang Ki Yong enlisted in the military last August 2021 and was discharged on February 22 of this year.
