Kim Woo Bin dishes on his on-screen comeback as he reflects on his career and life following his hiatus.

After four years since the actor announced that he would be putting his career on temporary pause, the South Korean heathrob has starred in back-to-back projects.

From a slew of endorsements to a K-drama comeback as well as his return to the big screen, there's no stopping Kim Woo Bin from reviving his career after his hiatus.

During his appearance on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," the actor spoke about his experience returning on-screen for "Our Blues" and thoughts during his four-year break.

Kim Woo Bin as 'Hotpack Angel' According to 'Our Blues' Cast

As obtained by a media outlet, the actor tells host Yoo Jae Suk about his new nickname, "hotpack angel." Kim Woo Bin revealed that his "Our Blues" co-stars were the ones who gave him that moniker.

The actor recalled the time when they would have hot packs on set of the K-drama, and working alongside veteran stars, he was the one who distributed the food; hence, he got the nickname.

"We filmed in the winter, so we opened several hot packs in the morning and gave them to our seniors," he said.

The healing K-drama featured a star-studded cast.

Apart from the South Korean heartthrob, "Our Blues" cast also includes Kim Woo Bin's girlfriend, Shin Min Ah, as well as award-winning stars like Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Han Ji Min, and more.

Interestingly, the tvN series is Kim Woo Bin's return to the small screen after the 2016 rom-com K-drama "Uncontrollably Fond" with Bae Suzy.

It was after Kim Woo Bin announced his hiatus in May 2017 after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer.

As the interview continued, Yoo Jae Suk asked Kim Woo Bin about his thoughts regarding his hiatus.

The actor got honest and said he got "upset" that he "lived too much in the future while I had a short break." That was because he needed to prioritize his health and focus on his recovery.

Although the actor was thankful for having a full recovery, he felt that he missed something and "wished" he could have enjoyed life more fully. It is also the reason why he has been booked and busy in the past few months, working on back-to-back projects and meeting new people.

"These days, I'm trying to enjoy it as much as possible, starting with looking into the eyes of the person talking or observing what they wear," he said, adding, "I don't think I have any regrets after doing that.

After "Our Blues," Kim Woo Bin returned to the big screen with the sci-fi movie "Alienoid" with Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol.

He is also making his comeback to the small screen through the upcoming Netflix series "Black Knight," airing on May 12.
