'The Good Bad Mother' Episode 8: Jin Young Soon's Dilemma
"The Good Bad Mother" episode 8 begins with Choi Kang Ho's (Lee Do Hyun) desperate attempt to rescue Jin Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran).
A traumatized Choi Kang Ho rushes out of the house and bumps into Lee Mi Joo (Ahn Eun Jin) who comforts him, reassuring that Jin Young Soon would never do such a thing again.
When he calms down, Jin Young Soon explains herself, saying that she's a little sick and didn't want to burden Choi Kang Ho.
Choi Kang Ho's Training of Suffering
In episode 8, Jin Young Soon's tough love is seen once again when he wheels Choi Kang Ho to a pond. She throws him in and asks to use his legs if he wants to survive.
Because of this, Choi Kang Ho agrees to attend physical therapies for him to be able to walk again. Meanwhile, Jin Young Soon's health deteriorates as the cancer cells spread in her body.
It's a bittersweet moment for the mother and son as Choi Kang Ho is finally able to stand and walk on his own.
Choi Kang Ho's Lovely Surprise
The villagers plan to surprise Choi Kang Ho with a mobility scooter, fully unaware that he can walk again. Lee Mi Joo's nail salon is also doing great in sales.
Choi Kang Ho shocks Lee Mi Joo and the rest of their neighbors when he arrives on his own two feet. His childhood friend is smitten as she freezes in her spot.

Meanwhile, the two share a sweet moment that makes their hearts flutter during a group lunch, which leaves Bang Sam Shik (Yoo In Soo) extremely jealous.
Lee Mi Joo Rejects Bang Sam Shik
A drunk Bang Sam Shik gets drunk and ambushes Lee Mi Joo by proposing to her since her twins "need a dad."
Unfortunately for him, Lee Mi Joo rejects him tremendously. Elsewhere, Song Woo Byeok (Choi Moo Sung) notifies Oh Tae Soo (Jung Woong In) that Choi Kang Ho can walk again.
He also threatens him that his men found new evidence against him, making the former prosecutor shiver in nervousness.
Jin Young Soon Teaches Choi Kang Ho Basic Life Skills
At the end of the episode, Jin Young Soon and Choi Kang Ho go to town to take some photos together. She also teaches her son what to do after she passes away, which makes Choi Kang Ho extremely uncomfortable.
After the lecture, the mother and son duo bond over skincare routine and face masks, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
