Talented and charismatic, this is how fans often described Kim Woo Bin. Following his long-awaited comeback, the actor is now in the spotlight again as he headlined Netflix's original series "Black Knight."
On May 17, after "Black Knight" premiered, its lead actor Kim Woo Bin sat for an interview, which was held at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul. In the middle of the conversation, the topic shifted, and he candidly expressed his desire to give life to specific roles, if given the chance in the future.
According to "Our Blues" star during his hiatus, he had received numerous role offers. Overwhelmed by the love calls, Kim Woo Bin brought up his criteria in picking the next project he wanted to do.
The model-actor revealed that he will only decide to star in the work if he likes its story. For him, characters with cool looks are not his priority in selecting his next role, which is why he chose to appear in "Black Knight."
In the newly released drama, Kim Woo Bin played 5-8, a legendary knight, and highly-skilled in physical combat. It was indeed one of his unique screen characters since he debuted in the entertainment industry.

What Roles Will Kim Woo Bin Do Next?
According to the "Uncontrollably Fond" star, "I want to play a role that can't fight. I am not good at fighting. I played 'King of School' about six times. I am always given the character of leader or best fighter in a group. It seems to be because of my physical appearance, but in reality, I am good for nothing."
Kim Woo Bin mentioned that he is still waiting for a role like the one he portrayed in the 2015 movie "Twenty," which he is always ready to do. The K-drama leading man also expressed his interest in acting in professional jobs such as lawyer and doctor, which he assures himself that he can do well.
Furthermore, Kim Woo Bin's "Black Knight" which premiered on May 12 has been dominating the Netflix top 10 list as the drama is constantly becoming popular in different countries.
Based on the data released by Flix Patrol last May 14, the dystopian-themed series is named the second most-watched on Netflix. Apart from landing the second spot, the Korean series is also the most-watched in nine countries including Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and more.
