Kim Bum redefined the meaning of fan service after showing his appreciation to his supporters in a meaningful way.

The 33-year-old South Korean heartthrob is recently making waves as he stars in the newest K-drama sequel, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938."

As the series gains popularity among viewers, the lead star not only listens to the media's perception of the series but also keeps an eye on the reactions of his fans.

Kim Bum Instagram: Actor Proves He Monitors Fans' Posts

In Kim Bum's Instagram Stories, the actor, who is an avid Twitter user, revealed that he had "so much fun" monitoring the public's response up until 2:00 a.m. He mentioned it along with a Twitter screenshot, showing a trending topic that states a line from the latest episodes of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938."

Interestingly, he also posted the fans' reactions and answered some of it.

"Lee Yeon and Lee Rang should be the models for the alcohol brand that's using the gumiho character. I mean, we LITERALLY have Chosun's living gumihos right here. Hello," user @/paikchi wrote.

Kim Bum responded, "I agree. I like that brand of alcohol, too."

Meanwhile, some fans expressed concern that the actor was still awake and reading online comments until 2 in the morning. One even mentioned how "terrifying" Kim Bum's research skills are.

"I know how to look up tweets about me. Even the ones being hidden from me. I even searched in Thai. Should I not...?" he answered.

On the other hand, a netizen mentioned that the actor might be looking just for the most trending and popular topic on Twitter, and that's just it.

However, it seemed like he assured fans that he often reads Twitter and social media after correcting a netizen when the fan said she was "relieved" that Kim Bum only looked for "most popular tweets and that's it," to which he replied "wrong."

Wrapping up Kim Bum's Instagram Story saga, a user expressed worries that the actor might come across malicious posts about him, but it seemed like Kim Bum is unbothered by the negative feedback.

"I don't even care about malicious posts about me. I'm not bothered," he explained.

The South Korean hearthrob pointed out that all he wanted for his fans was "to have fun watching K-Dramas" that he is in.

"Also... It's not ONLY Twitter that I'm looking at. Like... How come Theqoo doesn't have a page under my name?" he joked.
