Scene-stealer Lee Yeon is once again gaining the viewers attention after joining the cast of "Delightfully Deceitful," starring Chun Woo Hee and Kim Dong Wook.

In the recently released K-drama, she took on the role of Jung Da Jung, one of the members of the Jukmok Foundation's prodigy group called "Jukmok Kids." Along with her are Yoo Hee Je, who played Na Sa, and Hong Seung Bum as Ringo.

Besides being one of the Jukmok Kids, Jung Da Jung is a comics and gaming fan.

During her shoot with Cosmopolitan Korea, the 28-year-old actress spoke about more of her character, her experience, and her preparation for "Delightfully Deceitful."

Throughout the years, Lee Yeon has played unconventional characters; from being Jung Hae In's sister, to being a teenage boy offender and now, an introverted gamer.

According to the actress, each work has a different preparation since she plays diverse characters.

As for her new role in "Delightfully Deceitful," she often spends time at home given that Jung Da Jung is an introvert.

Since he is also a hacker and someone who runs a comic book store, Lee Yeon says Jung Da Jung "stays in his own space to handle the work."

However, since she is the type who loves to go out a lot, Lee Yeon stayed home for a week and refused to go out just to feel what her character might be feeling as an introvert.

"I haven't been out of the house for about a week," she confessed, adding that she also ate her character's favorite food, which is ramen.

For Lee Yeon, its her way to connect to her character and feel the energy inside of Jung Da Jung.

Making her debut in 2017 for the independent film "AK-ZIL," Lee Yeon appeared in "D.P." as Jung Hae In's younger sister.

Interestingly, she gained massive recognition after playing the role of a teenage male offender in "Juvenile Justice."

Viewers were surprised that her role, Baek Seong U, was played by a 28-year-old actress.

Since then, all eyes have been on Lee Yeon's outstanding acting.

In that same year, she also joined the cast of "Weak Hero Class," followed by "Duty After School: Part 1" a year later.

However, she once again caught everyone's attention after playing the role of newbie assassin Kim Yeong Ji, in Netflix's "Kill Bok Soon."

In one scene, Lee Yeon sparred with award-winning actress Jeon Do Yeon, who played the hotshot MK Ent killer, Gil Bok Soon.
