Min Woo Hyuk Reveals Dissatisfaction With 'Doctor Cha' Ending

On June 6, Min Woo Hyuk entertained his fans through a brief interview with JTBC where he talked about the recently concluded series "Doctor Cha."

In the series, he played the role of a handsome surgeon from America named Roy Kim. For eight consecutive weeks, Min Woo Hyuk dominated the Hallyu scene with his charisma.

Roy Kim was also the second male lead, and fans rooted for him to end up with Uhm Jung Hwa's Cha Jung Suk. Sadly, none of this happened in the next, much to fans' disappointment.

However, it's not only the fans who were extremely saddened by the conclusion. Min Woo Hyuk was titled by the finale, most especially because of his character.

His character even volunteered to donate his liver to Cha Jung Suk whom he genuinely adores. Roy Kim has a deep regard for the other and he wants to protect her.

In the drama, Roy Kim gives up on Cha Jung Suk and meets another woman, which didn't sit right with the actor that he didn't even want to film the ending if it weren't for everyone's effort.

Min Woo Hyuk would have preferred it if his character had just gone back to the States instead of entering a different relationship. Many fans also agreed with the actor.
