For two months, JTBC's "Doctor Cha" dominated prime time with its entertaining and comical elements.
Headlined by Uhm Jung Hwa, the series follows a middle-aged housewife who, after an incident, decides to pursue her medical career after 20 years of hiatus.
The series received great reviews and even ended with an all-time high rating streak. Besides the main cast, the supporting ensemble also achieved great success.
Kim Ye Eun also boasted her impressive acting that was at par with the seasoned stars. She left a huge impression on the viewers who are excited to see more of her performances.
Her visuals were also praised by the viewers, saying that she resembles idol-actress Yoon Bo Mi and Chae Soo Bin.
In the series, the rising star played Moon Chae Yoon, a resident at the same hospital as Uhm Jung Hwa's Cha Jung Suk. She's extremely arrogant and has no respect for other people.
Because of this, her character received hatred and criticisms from the audiences. Unbeknownst to many, the role was totally meant for the young actress.

Kim Ye Eun directly auditioned for the role. On the day of the audition, she was given a script filled with curse words. She gained enough courage and swore coolly, impressing the producers.
The director immediately cast her for the role. According to them, Kim Ye Eun fits Moon Chae Yoon's role; someone whom the viewers can't hate too much because she's also lovely.
The actress, who's slowly building her filmography, has successfully returned to the limelight with "Doctor Cha" which was well-received by the viewers.
Kim Ye Eun Expresses Thoughts On 'Doctor Cha'
Although she has played a minor role in "Doctor Cha," Kim Ye Eun feels extremely grateful to the cast and crew of the JTBC series.
Kim Ye Eun describes the work as a "life-changing experience" which strengthened her as an actress. She shared that the work also gave her the opportunity to work with great actors.
"Moon Chae Yoon and "Doctor Cha" will hold a soft spot in my heart forever," the rookie star stated. "It's also my first time to receive such hatred from the audience, which made me love my character even more."
On the other hand, Kim Ye Eun has starred in high scale projects including "Eve" and "Broker." The public is looking forward to what she's about to offer next.
