Kim Young Ae was diagnosed with blood vessel related dementia and was in shock.
On the 19th episode of MBC Wednesday/Thursday drama "Medical Top Team" broadcast on December 11th, Kwang Hye University Vie Chair Shin Hye Soo (played by Kim Young Ae) who had been a woman of iron was diagnosed with blood vessel related dementia.
On this day, Shin Hye Soo was shocked and couldn't keep talking. The doctor said to Shin Hye Soo, "If we discover it early enough and treat it, we can stop it from worsening" and comforted her as he recommended medical treatment.
Moreover, Shin Hye Soo showed symptoms where she couldn't remember roads nor recognize people and viewers have raised the possibilities that she had Alzheimer's, a.k.a. dementia.
