Earlier this 2023, Hallyu fans were very excited to see Han So Hee and Song Hye Kyo in a drama together.

Unfortunately, things changed and the young star is now put under the microscope for her intentions. On June 21, netizens called out Han So Hee for her "fakeness."

In an online community, Han So Hee's friendship with Song Hye Kyo became a hot topic, gaining more than 300,000 comments and views.

The "My Name" actress was heavily criticized for her "overboard" interactions with Song Hye Kyo on social media which made a lot of fans uncomfortable.

She even posted a photo of Song Hye Kyo holding a phone with Han So Hee in the background, saying that she liked the fan's edit a lot. Han So Hee would also refer to the older actress as "her girl."

One fan said that the young actress might not really like Song Hye Kyo and is only using her to gain popularity. Song Hye Kyo recently enjoyed syndrome-level success with the revenge drama "The Glory."

In addition, the two stars were supposed to team up in the drama "The Price of Confession" but due to production and scheduling conflicts, both decided to withdraw from the production.

Many defended the two actresses' friendship including Song Hye Kyo's fans. In fact, it wasn't only Han So Hee who had posted a lot about their relationship but also Song Hye Kyo.

Song Hye Kyo's fans believe that the friendship between the two are genuine despite being formed only through a project that has now been dissolved.

On the other hand, Han So Hee's agency, U-ATTO Entertainment, hasn't addressed the hate towards their talent, which leaves fans in a stalemate.
