Hwang Minhyun’s Agency Calls Out Aggressive Fans — What Happened?
Hwang Minhyun's agency, Pledis Entertainment, released a statement concerning the behavior of his fans. As mentioned by a media outlet, the incident is amid the ongoing filming of his upcoming projects "My Lovely Liar" and TVING's "Study Group."
Hwang Minhyun's Agency Halts 'Unauthorized Visits to Artists' Private Schedules'
In a report, the talent label took to the fan platform Weverse and expressed their request. They began their message by expressing their deep gratitude to the fans who have given the singer-actor "interest and support."
However, the label pointed out that things seemed to be getting out of hand after "unauthorized visits to artists' private schedules," like his drama filming site, which are "causing damage to site operations and are becoming more serious."
Moreover, Pledis Entertainment also called out fans for releasing unauthorized videos and photos on social media featuring the artists while on the set.
"Visiting an unauthorized filming location not only delays filming but also causes damage to dramas in which artists appear, such as unauthorized filming videos and photos being uploaded to social media," the post reads.
Due to this, the label asked the public to refrain from visiting the unofficial schedules of Hwang Minhyun for the artist's safety and rights.

On the other hand, Pledis Entertainment also left a warning to those who would insist and show rude and aggressive behavior toward the actor.
"If such behavior is repeated, membership and benefits of Hwang Minhyun's global fan club may be restricted or revoked without prior warning, and admission to and participation in official schedules may be restricted without separate notice," the agency said.
The news comes after Hwang Minhyun has a back-to-back project in 2023.
Hwang Minhyun Dramas: 'My Lovely Liar' and 'Study Group'
After the success of the romance fantasy K-drama "Alchemy of Souls," where he played Seo Yul in two seasons, Hwang Minhyun is set to star in the upcoming K-drama "My Lovely Liar." He will be headlining the upcoming rom-com series with Kim So Hyun.
Taking on the role of Mok Sol Hee's (Kim So Hyun) neighbor, Kim Do Ha, he hides himself from the world due to an unspeakable secret.
Set to be released on July 31, "My Lovely Liar" will be available on tvN and Netflix for global viewers.
Adding to the list of Hwang Minhyun's dramas is the webtoon-based series "Study Group." The singer-actor is among the lead stars alongside Han Ji Eun.
As for his music career, he will have his Asia tour starting in August and will perform in Seoul, Manila, Taipei, Jakarta, and Bangkok.
