THIS ‘Celebrity’ Scene Has Viewers Cracking Up: ‘This is so dumbfounding that it has to be true’

Days after its arrival on Netflix, Park Gyu Young and Kang Min Hyuk's "Celebrity" is attracting a lot of viewers for its intriguing premise.

The online Hallyu fans also grow curious as to what kind of narrative the work presents after a clip from the Netflix show goes viral, earning laughter and attention. 

Netflix's 'Celebrity' Makes Successful Debut

On June 30, Park Gyu Young and Kang Min Hyuk's Netflix drama "Celebrity" finally made its debut.

The series immediately attracted a lot of viewers with its sparkly aesthetics and intriguing plot; a thriller drama that is nicely wrapped with shimmering ribbons.

"Celebrity" follows the lives of people who live the glitz and glamor life as celebrities and social media influencers. It also focuses on the dark side of being chronically online, and the hidden desires and mysteries of people who envy them.

As of this writing, the drama is one of the most viewed K-Dramas on Netflix. The series also boasts its star-studded cast; from Hallyu superstars Seol In Ah, Lee Junho, (G)I-DLE Yuqi and more.

Park Gyu Young and Kang Min Hyuk's chemistry as a lead couple also didn't go unnoticed. Many fans were impressed with the two actors' performance in their first ever drama together.

Besides that, Kang Min Hyuk's impressive transformation into a conglomerate heir also attracted attention.

However, what really stole the fans' hearts was the actor's hilarious scene with his maid. In the series, a housekeeper crouches down behind him to find the right timing in removing his shoes from his feet while he's walking.

This earned hilarious feedback from viewers around the world, and even went viral in the online Hallyu community. Its absurdity brought entertainment to many.

One fan couldn't believe what she said and commented, "This is so dumbfounding that it has to be true. Seriously? Is this for real?"

Some thought that the maid crouched down as Kang Min Hyuk walked because she was trying to catch a bug, which made everyone crack up in laughter even more.

Unfortunately, a lot of fans didn't take the scene well and were utterly disturbed. A viewer stated, "It's cringe-worthy. I refuse to believe that there are people who make their helpers do things like this."

Another countered the statement, saying that there are even worse people in real life and reminded everyone that "Celebrity" is just a fictional show.
