In a recent broadcast of the travel show "Mother's Travel Ko Doo Shim" on July 24, hosted by Ko Doo Shim, "Penthouse" star Bong Tae Gyu made his guest appearance.

For the episode, they went to Gangwon-do to film.

During the episode, Bong Tae Gyu revealed that his father died in an accident at the mountain. However, as people learned about the demise of his father, the celebrity was shocked by their insensitive comments.

As he was playing a lot of fun characters, people teased him on social media and linked the tragic death of his dad.

"I was shocked because I played a lot of fun roles. But I was heartbroken that people also made jokes about my father's death. At that time, I regretted becoming an actor for the first time."

Despite portraying various significant and big roles, Bong Tae Gyu expressed the stress he experienced behind closed doors, especially in his personal life.

Ko Doo Sim was surprised by the actor's confession and sympathized with him.
