'Moving’ Officials Slammed for Letting Ryu Seung Ryong Handle the Issue Amid Delay of Release

"Moving" experienced a slight setback with episodes 9 and 10. Following its successful premiere, viewers waited for a week to watch the succeeding episode of the Disney+ series. However, fans were disappointed due to the delay in release.

Initially, the show's two new episodes were scheduled to be released at 4 p.m. KST on August 16. Unfortunately, the webtoon-based K-drama aired the 9th and 10th episodes a little later than the scheduled time.

Ryu Seung Ryong Apologizes for Delay in 'Moving' Episodes 9 and 10 Release

On Ryu Seung Ryong's Instagram Stories, the actor reshared a series of posts relating to the K-drama "Moving." Along with it is an apology, addressing the issue regarding the delay in broadcast.

"There seems to be a serious error. If you press 'play next episode' on the play bar of episode 7, episode 8 will come up," the actor posted on his SNS.

Following this, an official statement from Disney+ was posted, also expressing their apology for the delay in the release of new episodes.

"We apologize for causing inconvenience to people who have been waiting for 'Moving'. We ask for your understanding," the streaming platform wrote, as obtained by a media outlet.

However, viewers were disappointed with this move of Disney+.

As mentioned in the same outlet, viewers were unhappy with how the streaming platform addressed the issue.

In the same outlet, fans criticized Disney+ for letting "the lead actor handle the issue himself."

Other comments include statements such as, "I went home and turned on Disney+ at exactly 4 p.m. but couldn't see any new episodes," while some noticed that Ryu Seung Ryong addressed the issue first instead of the drama officials or the platform.

"Ryu Seung Ryong posted about it first. Other actors didn't do anything," the comment said.

Despite the setback, "Moving" managed to air its 8th and 9th episodes, focusing on Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, and Ryu Seung Ryong's story as secret agents.

Moreover, the new episodes also showcase the romance between Lee Mi Hyun and Kim Doo Shik amid their mission.

'Moving' Episodes 10 and 11: Release, Where to Watch

Viewers need to wait another week to see the new episodes of the webtoon-based K-drama.

"Moving" episodes 10 and 11 release date is scheduled for August 23, airing 2 episodes simultaneously.

The Disney+ original series regularly airs every Wednesday, with a total run time of 60 minutes per episode.

Besides the trio, the "Moving" cast also includes Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Jung Ha, Go Yoon Jung, Kim Sung Kyun, and more. This is helmed by "Kingdom" season 2 director Park In Je and written by Kang Full, who also wrote the original webtoon.
