The horror-thriller film "Target," starring Shin Hye Sun, Kim Sung Kyun, and with the special participation of Kang Tae Oh, topped the list of advance sales among Korean movies. It happened before the long-awaited debut of the film this August 30.

On August 28, exactly two days ahead of its premiere on the silver screen, "Target" made an impressive record for recording high sales, which marked the birth of a new box office hit this summer.

According to a source, the upcoming movie is completed with realistic material and high immersion of the actors who exhibited their passion for acting.

Based on a news cited by a media outlet, Shin Hye Sun's movie surpassed Park Seo Joon's "Concrete Utopia," which previously ranked first for almost three weeks. In addition, it draws attention as it heralds the emergence of a new Korean movie box office hit amid the strong performance of its competitor, "Oppenheimer."

Shin Hye Sun is Soo Hyun, who works as an ordinary office worker, and gets scammed in an online transaction.

Kim Sung Kyun takes the role of Detective Joo, a member of the Cyber Investigation Unit who probes into crime cases related to secondhand transactions. Kang Tae Oh, who is currently fulfilling his military service, is also part of the cast and is about to meet the viewers with his role as the junior detective of Mr. Joo.

Furthermore, this will be Shin Hye Sun's next big screen return following her "Brave Citizen," where she teamed up with idol-actor Lee Jun Young.
