'Evil Destiny' Might Be Shin Min Ah's Next K-Drama Project

Based on a news cited by a media outlet on August 30, Shin Min Ah is being courted to star in the series "Evil Destiny." The actress is reportedly offered to play the role of a surgeon who lives with a lifelong trauma due to an incident she experienced in her childhood. It is a character who faces a terrible situation that she doesn't want to see again as it burdens her in life.

The crime-thriller is based on a webtoon that presents the story of people entangled in an unexpected bad love, chasing their perspective desires and destroying each other.

It will be helmed by "A Violent Prosecutor" director and writer Lee Il Hyung.

Adding to Shin Min Ah's potential work, she might team up with veteran actor and "Squid Game" star Park Hae Soo in this project.

Shin Min Ah Considering to Headline New Rom-Com K-Drama With Lee Jong Shin

Aside from "Evil Destiny," the actress is also considering headlining a new romance-comedy drama.

On June 26, the female star was reported to play the protagonist in "Because I Want No Loss" (literal title). Her label, AM Entertainment confirmed that she received an offer but is still reviewing the project and nothing has been decided yet.

It foretells the story of a woman who fakes her marriage because she doesn't want to take any loss and a man who becomes her fake husband. After all, he doesn't want to cause any harm.

If she accepts the project, she will portray the role of Son Hae Young, a part-timer at a convenience store. In addition, rising actor Lee Jong Won is said to join Shin Min Ah in the series.

He is rumored to immerse himself in the character of Kim Ji Wook, who is called a citizen police officer and a righteous man in the neighborhood.

"Because I Want No Loss" will be penned by the "Her Private Life" writer Kim Hye Young.
