Lee Joon Gi Talks About His Life In & Outside the K-Industry

Ahead of his drama return with "Arthdal Chronicles 2," Lee Joon Gi began making public appearances through different multimedia platforms.

On August 30, he was introduced as the star guest in the trending YouTube show "Yoo Quiz on the Block," headed by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho.

The actor shared some of his behind-the-scenes stories as a public figure who has been working in the industry for a decade. He mentioned having a celebrity disease when one of his dramas "The King and the Clown" received massive support from the public.

Thankfully, he was able to escape from that pace in his career.

Lee Joon Gi Often Misunderstood as Single Due to THIS Reason

Aside from his acting journey, Lee Joon Gi also shared stories about his life outside the spotlight. In particular, he showcased his close relationship with his sister.

The "My Girl" star mentioned that he has been living with his sister since 2013. Illustrating their strong bond, he described her as his jiu-jitsu buddy. Since many of their colleagues see them together often, most of them speculate that both of them are not dating anyone.

Lee Joon Gi said, "People who know us well often say that we are still single because we spend a lot of time together. We care for each other and we really get along well."

K-Actor Expresses Love to His Younger Sister

According to the lead actor, he and his sister shared many enjoyable moments together. He mentioned that jiu-jitsu has become their favorite thing to do. He realized that it's more than just a good workout, it actually teaches you valuable skills for self-defense.

Due to its benefits, the "Again My Life" star introduced the sport to his sister and enrolled in an academy. Later on, they started taking classes together, and his sibling enjoyed it so much.

He proudly and humbly bragged that his sister has won in competitions.

The program's host, Yoo Jae Suk, shared his admiration for the unique closeness between Lee Joon Gi and his younger sister. The actor, on the other hand, also used the opportunity to express his gratitude to his sibling.

"I would love to keep doing stuff together. We are living under the same roof, and my sister does a lot for me. Her support helps me focus on my work."

Lee Joon Gi also expressed his thoughts when his sister shared news about her marriage.

"Frankly, I would be mad if her partner wasn't a suitable husband. I might even consider taking a break from acting to address the matter. She means the world to me."
