Lee Joon Gi Update

Lee Joon Gi took a trip down memory lane and recalled his iconic hairstyle back in the day.

Often lauded for his youthful looks and charming visuals, the South Korean hearthrob has a fair share of unpleasant moments that concern his looks.

Here's Why Lee Joon Gi Gets 'Criticized a Lot' for His Looks

During his appearance on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," the show featured Lee Joon Gi's hairstyle during his early years as an actor.

At the time, the actor was sporting a popular hairstyle back then, which was called the "shaggy cut," a layered haircut that has a messy, just-got-out-of-the-bed kind of look.

Looking back at his photos, he felt sorry for the guys who copied his hairstyle.

"I sincerely apologize to the men who borrowed the hairstyle and lived in the same era," he said, as obtained by Sports Chosun, adding that at the time, it was one of the stylish and popular hairstyles.

As he talks about his appearance, he reveals how people often say hurtful things about his looks.

Calling it a "bloody time in the entertainment industry," Lee Joon Gi said, "I was criticized a lot."

Not only referring to his hairstyle, people also disapprove of his sense of fashion.

According to him, it was during his dancing era. "It was a time when I really liked dancing. Don't you wear gloves a lot on stage? 'Let's try it on the red carpet," he said, recalling the experience.
