'The Judge from Hell' Might Be Park Shin Hye's Next Drama After 'Doctor Slump'

Park Shin Hye is receiving love calls from the industry. It is known that the actress is preparing to make her small screen comeback with Park Hyung Sik in "Doctor Slump."

It was after the media announced in March that the former "The Heirs" co-stars are confirmed to reunite in a medical series and are currently in the beginning of production. 

Aside from this news, on September 22, Park Shin Hye made a buzz after a report claimed that she is being courted to star in a legal-romance drama "The Judge from Hell." 

Based on the synopsis provided, "The Judge from Hell" presents the story of a cruel and vicious judge who wields power only for herself and meets a warm and optimistic detective who puts victims first. 

Park Shin Hye to Add New Profession to Her Character Portfolio 

Studio S, which is a subsidiary specializing in SBS content production, is in talks to produce the project.

If the actress decides to appear in the series, she will play the role of Kang Bit Na, a problematic judge who distrusts the perpetrator's pretentious reflection and has no sympathy for the victims' sorrow and pain. 

Though nothing is confirmed yet about her participation, some fans are already looking forward to how Park Shin Hye will deliver herself as a judge in a new work. It has been said that Kang Bit Na, is a powerful villain who combines her worst personality with the greatest strength.

Park Shin Hye showed off her brilliant character digestion in dramas featuring professionals such as a reporter in "Pinocchio" and a doctor in "Doctors," leading to immersion in the series. 

It remains exciting how the actress will perform in "The Judge from Hell" which is said to be different from previous legal dramas. This will also be the first time that the viewers will see Park Shin Hye act as a judge inside a court.

Many are curious now, about who among the notable actors and stars will join the cast of this forthcoming legal-romance series. 

Park Shin Hye Confirmed as Presenter at 'The Fact Music Awards 2023'

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik will have their first public appearance ahead of their screen comeback in "The Fact Music Awards," as they are confirmed as presenters in the prestigious ceremony.

The event will happen this October 10 at Incheon's Namdong Gymnasium.
