Rowoon To Play Young Widower In 'The Wedding Battle'
The year 2023 is big for Rowoon who basks in his back-to-back success as an actor as he challenges himself with the forthcoming rom-com series "The Wedding Battle."
Recently, Rowoon stirred commotion after announcing his departure from his long-time group SF9. Fans even blamed him for prioritizing his acting career over his job as a singer.
Despite the backlash, the actor continues to enjoy his stardom, even landing a brand new acting project in the midst of it.
Rowoon couples up with Cho Yi Hyun in "The Wedding Battle," which depicts the meeting between a widower and a widow who struggle to marry off young maidens in Joseon.
In the series, he transforms into Shim Jung Woo, a handsome and intelligent young man whose chances for marriage slip away due to the death of a princess at his wedding ceremony.
