Yoo Yeon Seok Shares Behind-the-Scenes Stories With Jang Do Yeon in 'Salon Drip 2'

"A Bloody Lucky Day" stars Lee Sung Min and Yoo Yeon Seok made their guest appearance in the famous YouTube talk show "Salon Drip 2." The new duo, starring in a new mystery-crime series, talked about their new  project.

Yoo Yeon Seok debuted as a villain in "A Bloody Lucky Day," where he plays the role of a serial killer. The actor enjoyed playing new roles as it gave him learning and room for improvement. He stated that appearing in the drama with Lee Sung Min was challenging as it was his first time to portray as a psychopath.

The "Hospital Playlist" actor said:

"I have enjoyed playing various roles since I debuted. It's fun to play characters that go against my image, so I go back and forth between good and bad roles. Recently, I have appeared in medical dramas and saved a lot of people, so I went in the opposite direction this time."

Explaining his decision to try out a new image on screen. When talking about his preparation for his psychopath role, Yoo Yeon Seok elaborated:

"Since my role is someone who cannot feel pain, I looked for a lot of references. I don't look for the director's work because I might copy it without realizing it, so I referred to interviews with psychopathic criminals and documentaries of pain-free patients."

In the middle of their conversation, the program's host, Jang Do Yeon, mentioned that she searched for Yoo Yeon Seok's name online and the top related keywords for him were his kiss scenes.

After hearing this, the "Mr. Sunshine" actor asked:

"Do you usually ask about kissing scenes?" 

The actor then started to share his secret routine when having kiss scenes in his projects.

"I don't mind gargling, but the way I used to do it was by sharing a glass of wine. I also poured a glass of wine for each of the staff members and lightened the mood by saying, 'Please have a glass each.'"

Then the lead star demonstrated it and picked up the glass he was drinking and said:

"It's to change the mood. Why am I drinking this on an empty stomach?' It can be awkward, so I'm trying to get a fun start."

Jang Do Yeon heard this and made the people laugh by saying:

"You're not asking me to kiss you, right?"
