With this, she will join fellow lead stars Ju Ji Hoon and Seolhyun, who reportedly confirmed their appearance.

Moreover, what made the upcoming K-drama more interesting is that "Lightning Store" is among the works of Kang Full, who is the creator of the hit series "Moving."

The thriller-horror K-drama is under the direction of actor Kim Hee Won, who also starred in "Moving" and "Han River Police." In addition to this, the upcoming K-drama will be his first project as a director.

Just like Kang Full's previous series, "Lightning Store" is set to be released on Disney+.

On the other hand, the webtoon was initially released in 2011 through Daum Cartoon World, the predecessor of Kakao Webtoon.

Due to the interesting premise of the story, "Lightning Store" gained popularity not only in South Korea but also in China, making it into a movie that will be released on December 15.

Park Bo Young Teams Up With Choi Woo Shik in Rom-Com K-Drama

Other than the exciting project, Park Bo Young will also be headlining "Romantic Movie," also known as "Melo Movie." She will potentially work alongside Choi Woo Shik, who is in talks to headline the series.

Penned by "Our Beloved Summer" writer Lee Na Eun, the upcoming K-drama follows the story of young individuals who are thriving to survive amid hardships. They choose to fulfill their dreams and experience love, but find themselves barely making it through and drained from the challenges they endure.

If Park Bo Young officially accepts the offer, she will portray the role of Park Kim Moo Bi, an assistant director turned film director.

"Melo Movie" also showcases her career growth and how she strives to fulfill her dreams.

Prior to her upcoming series, Park Bo Young made viewers happy after making a cameo in "Strong Girl Namsoon." She returned as Do Bong Soon, who is now married to Ahn Min Hyuk, played by Park Hyung Sik.

Following the news regarding another "Strong Girl" spin-off, fans are hoping that Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will return for a cameo.
