YoonA Brings 'King the Land' Character Cheon Sa Rang to Life

YoonA might have concluded her first drama team-up with Lee Junho in "King the Land," but the actress is still living her character's persona Cheon Sa Rang behind the cameras.

In her new vlog, published on December 7, the idol-actress documented some of her activities in the Czech Republic. She visited the place for a business trip and found time to insert a few clips of her journey.

The "Big Mouth" star finished her long filming in the country and boarded a plane to Korea. As the video continued, YoonA began sharing some of her behind-the-scenes stories.

According to her, after she filmed "King the Land" her mind changed when she met people who worked in hotels, airlines, duty-free, etc. The SNSD member seemed to have developed a sense of friendliness, "It made me feel like I had worked as a real hotelier like there would be peace and loyalty."

"King the Land" features the story of Gu Won, a chaebol heir who despises fake smiles, and the constantly smiling and optimistic Cheon Sa Rang, who dreams of working in "King Hotel." A beautiful love story emerged after they reunited at the famous hotel.

The drama concluded in August and recorded an average viewership rating of 13.8 percent.

She also shared that it was hard and tiring for her since she was working in Europe with a lot of schedules on her list. However, despite the jam-packed schedule, YoonA found happiness in the little things, like eating a bowl of bibimbap after a busy day and taking a rest afterward.

YoonA to Host 2023 MBC Music Festival With Hwang Minhyun & SHINee's Minho

Apart from her overseas schedule, and hosting the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards, YoonA is preparing to make her stage comeback as she is already confirmed to join Hwang Minhyun and SHINee's Minho to host the upcoming 2023 MBC Music Festival, which she's been hosting since 2015.

The year-end festival is expected to take place on December 31 in Seoul.

In addition, the idol-actress is about to release her romance movie "2 O'clock Date." She will collaborate for the first time with Korean heartthrob Ahn Bo Hyun in this project. Even though there's no confirmed date yet, the film is expected to hit the cinemas sometime in 2024.
