‘My Demon’ Episode 5: Song Kang Tries to Control His Feelings for Kim Yoo Jung

As his feelings for Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung) grew, Jung Gu Won (Song Kang) tried to distance himself in "My Demon" episode 5.

'My Demon' Episode 5: Jung Gu Won Becomes Distant to Do Do Hee

In "My Demon" episode 5, with the help of Do Do Hee and her acquired powers from the demon, she was able to save Jung Gu Won from the gang members. 

However, after their close encounter, Jung Gu Won started to develop feelings for her, and since then, he had tried to distance himself.

Do Do Hee, on the other hand, was bothered by Gu Won's cold treatment and went to his house to find out the reason for his sudden change.

But he purposely hurt her and sent her back home.

Noh Sok Min & Noh Do Kyung's Suspicious Acts

Meanwhile, Do Do Hee's stalker, who recorded the fight, sent the copy to a member of her adoptive family. But it was unclear who this family member was, who wanted to kill her, and possibly the mastermind behind Madam Ju's (Kim Hae Sook) death.

The stalker had a conversation with Do Do Hee's adoptive family member, but it showed that her stepbrother Noh Sok Min and his son Noh Do Kyung received a message at the same time.

Noh Do Kyung, who was at his doctor's appointment, was triggered by the consultant for calling him a lunatic and ended up killing him.

His father, Noh Sok Min, gathered and threatened the shareholders to vote for him as the acting chairman.

Meanwhile, his wife dreamed of a scene where Madam Ju suffered from a heart attack.

During the night, the stalker had a conversation with the culprit and forced him to kill Do Do Hee as soon as possible.

Jung Gu Won, on the other hand, continued to deal with his growing feelings for the chaebol heiress.

Jung Gu Won Jealous of Ju Seok Hoon

Ending the tension between them, Do Do Hee and Jung Gu Won started to act normal as colleagues. However, Do Hee's assistant mistakenly took the helmet guy as Do Hee's killer and hit him. It was then found out that he was Gu Won's assistant Park Bok Gyu.

Furthermore, Do Do Hee's family gathered for the shareholders' meeting and announced Noh Suk Min as the new acting chairperson. He advised Do Hee to take her time in finding her groom, but she assured him to marry soon.

Ju Seok Hoon (Lee Sang Yi), Do Do Hee's only aide in the family, informed her of a possible accounting fraud and started to investigate.

Meanwhile, seeing their closeness together made Jung Gu Won jealous.

Jung Gu Won Saves Do Do Hee

Despite their bickering, the demon escorted Do Hee with her prospective suitor and was surprised by her sudden decision to register their marriage.

Due to his growing feelings, Jung Gu Won decided to find the culprit quickly and finish the business with Do Do Hee. They went to the gang members and asked for their help in finding the mastermind.

Jung Gu Won almost killed the boss due to his temper. Do Do Hee was angered by his impulsiveness and fired him on the spot.

As she returned home, Do Do Hee was followed by her stalker. He tied her to the top of her penthouse.

While he almost cut the rope, Jung Gu Won unexpectedly arrived to save her. The two shared an intense and emotional eye contact while in the middle of danger.
