Lee Sun Bin made a guest appearance in a popular YouTube web show in promotion of her brand new series "Boyhood."

The actress talked about her new acting role, and also looked back at her past and dished out on her years as a teen.

Lee Sun Bin Shares Affection For 'Boyhood' Role

On December 10, Lee Sun Bin appeared in the YouTube channel Ggondaehee, one of the most popular web shows in South Korea hosted by comedian Kim Dae Hee.

She introduced her new project "Boyhood," which is distributed by Coupang Play. It stars Lee Sun Bin alongside Im Siwan, Lee Si Woo and Kang Hye Won.

The series is a period drama that depicts the life of a lanky outcast who becomes a huge mixed martial arts fighter overnight as he transfers to a different school.

In the show, Lee Sun Bin plays a strong and charismatic woman fighter in her neighborhood called "Black Spider."

According to Lee Sun Bin, she had so much fun filming the show as she experienced high school again. She said, "I was very different from my character. It was fun because it felt like we were going to school again."

The actress shared that she was a vivacious teen growing up, and was a brilliant student who won different awards at school.

Lee Sun Bin also looked back and revealed her mischievous side by sharing her most memorable experience as a teen.

Lee Sun Bin Reflects On Pre-Debut Life As Actress

Lee Sun Bin had a rebellious phase as a teen. She confessed that she had run away from home in her third year in high school to pursue her celebrity dreams.

Growing up, the actress has been a part of her school's musical play. Due to tight schedules, she had failed her exams which made her feel behind among her peers.

"I realized I couldn't do anything about it," Lee Sun Bin said. "So I just ran away to audition and become a celebrity. I even wrote a letter to my mother and stole a coin purse before leaving."

Kim Dae Hee commented, saying that she was "admirable" and "weird," making them both laugh. Meanwhile, fans were impressed with her life story despite her rebellious years. Thankfully, all her sacrifices and hard work had paid off.

Lee Sun Bin has starred in countless K-dramas including "Work Later, Drink Now," "Criminal Minds," "Missing 9" and more.
