Park Shin Hye & Park Hyung Sik Find Comfort In One Another
On January 2, JTBC shared a sneak peek into the much awaited rom-com series "Doctor Slump."
The new teaser features Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik as high school students and as adults, showcasing their unfading affection for each other.
In the series, Park Shin Hye plays Nam Ha Neul, an anesthesiologist while Park Hyung Sik portrays plastic surgeon Yeo Jung Woo. The two find comfort in each other despite their long-running rivalry after they fall in the biggest slumps in their lives.
Fans are given a glimpse into the relationship between Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jung Woo. While the latter receives high praises from their schoolmates, Nam Ha Neul expresses her dislike.

She said, "I really couldn't understand the others who like Yeo Jung Woo," hinting at her hatred for her fellow students who fell for the latter's charming face and genius mind.
Similarly, Yeo Jung Woo also couldn't understand why Nam Ha Neul is liked by many. However, as time passes quickly, the two reunite as they face the biggest adversities in their lives.
Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul confess being comforted and relieved whenever they are together, moving past their dislike for one another. The teaser ends as they wreathe each other into a warm embrace.
With this, viewers are looking forward to seeing how the two find their way to each other, and how they became closer despite their unspeakable hatred during their younger years.
In particular, fans are also excited to see the chemistry between Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik who reunite for the JTBC drama after a decade since "The Heirs."

Alongside the acting duo, attention is also given to the cinematography and storytelling of the series as it is helmed by "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" director Oh Hyun Jong.
With this, the anticipation for Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik's upcoming series was doubled.
