Park Seo Joon Makes Building Rent Cheaper for His Staff

Park Seo Joon gained attention due to a news cited by an outlet on January 9.

In 2020, the "Itaewon Class" actor bought a building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 11 billion won ($8,000,000.00). He later on upgraded the property's value by changing the exterior and enhancing its design. It reportedly increased to 15 billion won in just two years.

Despite earning millions and having his properties, Park Seo Joon generously rented the building's 3rd and 5th floors to his longtime hair and makeup staff at a lower price than market rates in order to help them.

This heartwarming story made headlines and K-media lauded the actor for his kind and considerate gesture towards his staff.

In August 2021, the known Mnet's TMI News ranked Park Seo Joon 7th among the Korean stars with expensive advertisement fees.

In addition to the released information in the show, the actor appeared in around 20 advertisements in 2018 alone, including ads abroad mainly in Vietnam, China, the Philippines, and more.

TMI News stated that Park Seo Joon's estimated exclusive appearance fee in 2018 was about 700 million won (530,000 USD) and his total ad revenue for the year soared to over 7 billion krw (530,000,000 USD).

KBS' Entertainment company Live released an episode in January 2022 where they ranked the actor 9th among the geniuses of building investments. It was also where Park Seo Joon's good deed was exposed!
