Go Hyun Jung Speaks Truth About Her Dating Rumor With Jo In Sung
In the new episode of "Fairy Jae Hyung" on YouTube, released on January 16, host Jung Jae Hyung welcomed veteran actress Go Hyun Jung as his celebrity guest.
As the show began, Jung Jae Hyung asked the K-drama star why she had not appeared on TV that much. She then responded by saying that she doesn't receive many offers from networks.
As the conversation jumped from one topic to another, Go Hyun Jung candidly opened up about her past romance rumor with Jo In Sung.
The duo collaborated in the drama "Dear My Friends," and since they were screen partners at that time, people linked them and speculated that they were dating.
"Jo In Sung and I worked on a project. After that, rumors began swirling with photos of us at the airport. It was hilarious because Song Joong Ki and Lee Min Ho were there too, but somehow, it was just us in the pictures."
The "Mask Girl" star denied her romance with Jo In Sung and explained:
"We're actually just good friends. We met when Jo In Sung was 25, and he's a really nice and manly friend."
Go Hyun Jung also explained that the actor has his own standards for women, that's why it was impossible for them to have a romantic relationship.
Go Hyun Jung to Possibly Return With New K-Drama This 2024
In 2023, "The Great Queen Seondeok" lead star made her small screen comeback through Netflix's "Mask Girl." It was her first series after having a two-year hiatus.
This 2024, Go Hyun Jung might have a busy year as she received more project offers. One of the works she is in talks to appear in is the forthcoming series "La Mante" also known as "The Mantis."

It was revealed in November 2023 that Go Hyun Jung was being courted to lead the said drama. Her agency IOK Company released a statement confirming the actress cast in the project, and she is reviewing the offer to participate in the series but nothing has been decided yet.
Ji Chang Wook was also offered to play as the main protagonist of "La Mante." Unfortunately, his agency announced that the actor turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts.
As of this writing, there's no update yet on who among K-stars will be joining the lead cast of "La Mante."
