Jeon Jong Seo Shares Her Love Story With ‘The Call’ Director Lee Chung Hyun: “Why I liked him became clearer in my mind’

"Wedding Impossible" star Jeon Jong Seo casually talks about her relationship with director Lee Chung Hyun and how their romance changed throughout the years. 

The award-winning actress appeared as a guest on Shin Dong Yeob's YouTube channel, where they bonded over drinks.

The 29-year-old beauty revealed that she had a low tolerance for alcohol. 

Comedian and host Shin Dong Yeob asked Jeon Jong Seo, whom she heard "can't handle alcohol well."

The actress, who is also an endorser of a beer brand, confessed that she is not a big drinker. 

"I really haven't had much drink in my life, probably less than what this glass can hold."

In addition, since Jeon Jong Seo is not a heavy drinker, she has not experienced the feeling of being drunk. 

"I'm not really into drinking. I'm not sure which drinks I would enjoy, and I don't know what it's like to be drunk."

While some celebrities shy away from sharing their stories about their significant others, Jeon Jong Seo opened up about how they started dating. 

Most of the fans knew that they developed romantic feelings while filming the thriller movie "The Call," and the actress happily shared how they began dating. 

According to her, she and the director started dating after wrapping up the filming of "The Call."

Spilling more secrets about their first date, the actress recalled the time during their last shooting day of the movie. 

"On the day we wrapped up filming, he showed up in front of my house and asked me to go for a walk. We walked together, and he seemed very reluctant to leave. Strolling for quite a while and having ramyun at a convenience store became our routine."

Jeon Jong Seo also added that after doing the same routine several times, this is where they started dating.

In December 2021, actress and director Lee Chung Hyun publicly confirmed that they were dating. 

At the time, her agency, My Company, confirmed the news, saying that "the two of them had good feelings for each other and recently began a romantic relationship."

Jeon Jong Seo's boyfriend, Lee Chung Hyun, mentioned in an interview with JTBC that they "became naturally interested in each other while filming 'The Call."

The filmmaker also shared that only their family and acquaintances knew that they were dating.

As mentioned, Jeon Jong Seo and Lee Chung Hyun worked together in "The Call," followed by Netflix's "Ballerina," where Jeon Jong Seo's boyfriend helmed the movie. 

Meanwhile, the actress stars in her first rom-com K-drama, "Wedding Impossible," together with Moon Sang Min and Kim Do Wan. 

Jeon Jong Seo's new drama airs every Monday to Tuesday via tvN, TVING, and Viki.
