Han So Hee Courted to Lead New Mystery Drama With Ryu Jun Yeol

'Delusion' Rumored To Star Han So Hee & Ryu Jun Yeol

Media insiders announced on March 6 that Han So Hee is being courted to lead the upcoming mystery drama "Delusion." Award-winning actor Ryu Jun Yeol is also in talks to be part of the main cast.

In response to the news, Han So Hee's agency 9Ato Entertainment stated that "Delusion" is one of the projects offered to the actress and she is currently considering appearing in the series. 

Ryu Jun Yeol's side also gave their response and confirmed that the actor received an offer to lead the drama and he is reviewing the project offer. 

"Delusion" is a webtoon-based drama of the same name that is set in the backdrop of Gyeongseong in 1935 and 18000s Shanghai. It is a mystery-thriller series that follows the story of Yun Iho, an artist who is commissioned to paint a portrait of the mysterious woman Song Jeong Hwa. 

According to a source, despite having an adaptation, it is yet to be confirmed if "Delusion" will be produced as a drama or a film.

Director Han Jae Rim is said to helm the work. He is the brilliant mind behind popular works such as "Emergency Declaration," and "The Face Reader." He already worked with Ryu Jun Yeol in the movie "The King" and the forthcoming drama "The 8 Show."

Han So Hee & Ryu Jun Yeol Updates

While waiting for their confirmed collaboration, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have still other projects to look forward to. 

Han So Hee is expected to make a comeback with "Gyeongseong Creature" Season 2. She will reprise her role as Yoon Chae Ok in the said Netflix series, which is tentatively for release in the second half of 2024. 

Ryu Jun Yeol, on the other hand, is about to grace the screen with an exciting drama "The 8 Show." It depicts the story of a high-stakes game in which eight participants are placed under different difficult circumstances after being cut off from society. 

Joining him in the series are Chun Woo Hee, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, Bae Sung Woo, Lee Joo Young, Moon Jung Hee, and Lee Yul Eum.
