Disney Plus' most-watched series "A Shop for Killers" is still enjoying its popularity even after it concluded. Now, its team is in discussion for the potential of having a Season 2!
Disney Plus Team Discusses Content Lineup for 2024

On March 12, Disney Plus hosted its 2024 content lineup media held at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Seoul. Present at the gathering are Disney's head of Original Content Strategy Carol Choi, and the President of the Walt Disney Company Korea Kim So Yeon.
Directors of "A Shop for Killers" Lee Kwon and "Uncle Samsik" Shin Yeon Shick also attended the event.

During the said gathering, Disney Plus' local content team, headed by Shin Ah Reum, mentioned the success of the action-thriller series "A Shop for Killers."
"Since its debut in January, 'A Shop for Killers' has become the most-watched program across Disney Plus in the APAC region."
She elaborated that the said series has successfully kicked off 2024.
"As many of you who have watched the drama might know, 'A Shop for Killers' unveils secrets in a structure that alternates between the present and the past. It is a unique work, not commonly seen in Korean content."

She added that the series delighted viewers with elements like Muay Thai and slingshots, mentioning the impressive action scenes in the drama. Shin Ah Reum also talked about the possibility of producing another season due to its popular demand.
"Internally, it was a project we were confident enough to anticipate being the talk of the town. As expected, there's been significant demand for season 2, which we're currently discussing closely."

Even though they hinted at producing "A Shop for Killers" Season 2, the team didn't confirmed yet whether the original cast members will reprise their roles.
"A Shop for Killers" is based on the novel of the same title penned by Kang Ji Young, it follows the survival story of Ji An (Kim Hye Jun) targeted by mysterious killers due to the dangerous legacy left by her uncle Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook).
The captivating new-wave action series made its debut on Disney Plus on January 17 and was lauded by viewers across the globe for its well-written story and perfect casting.
