Kim Ha Neul’s ‘Nothing Uncovered’ Premieres + Cast Shares Viewership Goals

After a long wait, the mystery romance series "Nothing Uncovered" starring Kim Ha Neul, Yeon Woo Jin and Jang Seung Jo finally made its debut.

The first broadcast of the show captivated the viewers with its mysterious and rather unexpected developments surrounding the main cast.

'Nothing Uncovered' Successfully Premieres

On March 18, Kim Ha Neul's mystery romance drama "Nothing Uncovered" finally premiered to fans' delight.

Based on the web novel "Grabbed by the Collar," the series follows the life of a journalist who works with a detective who happens to be her ex-lover after she gets involved in a bloody murder.

The new series took off with high tension for a Monday and Tuesday drama. Kim Ha Neul proved her acting skills and years of experience through her flawless synchronization with her character.

"Nothing Uncovered" marks her return to the acting scene after a long while. In addition, her chemistry with her love interests played by Yeon Woo Jin and Jang Seung Jo were also lauded.

Thanks to these, the series received a significantly impressive score of 3%, joining the fierce race among other K-dramas in the same time slots.

As the drama progresses, it's expected to receive higher scores and reviews from viewers around the globe.

'Nothing Uncovered' Episode 1 Recap

Kim Ha Neul's Seo Jung Won becomes the target of humiliation when her father-in-law belittles her job when she exposed his corrupt friend's, an assemblyman, dirty tactics.

As a reporter, she usually receives tips from anonymous sources but this time, her life was at risk when she saw the assemblyman's lifeless maid lying on the floor.

Now, the detectives led by Yeon Woo Jin's Kim Tae Heon arrive, sending her to panic. Later on, she learns that her own husband Seol Woo Jae, played by Jang Seung Jo, is cheating on her.

Her life becomes more difficult due to anxiety. When she decides to enter a psychiatric hospital to receive treatment again, she sees her husband's mistress dead on the floor.

With this, Seo Jung Won becomes the No. 1 suspect, creating tension and raising curiosity as to what will happen next.

Kim Ha Neul Shares Ratings Goals For 'Nothing Uncovered'

In the previously held press conference, Kim Ha Neul admitted that she felt pressure with her brand new work as it marks her first KBS series in 8 years, and television comeback in 2 years.

In addition to that, she's also competing with fellow accomplished actresses Kim Nam Joo and Lee Bo Young who are also doing the mystery romance genre with "Wonderful World" and "Hide."

However, Kim Ha Neul is confident that "Nothing Uncovered" will be loved by the public. With this, she aims to hit the double-digit rating streak in the first half of broadcast.

On the other hand, "Nothing Uncovered" airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10:10 p.m. KST on KBS.
