Kim Ji Won Replaces Han So Hee as the New Ambassador for Lotte Chilsung’s Soju Beverage

Lotte Chilsung officially introduced Kim Ji Won as the new ambassador for the soju beverage Chum-Churum.

Amid the huge success of the tvN K-drama "Queen of Tears," fans get to see the actress in a new commercial.

Kim Ji Won Stuns in Chum-Churum's Latest CF

On April 26, the brand released the first CF featuring the "Queen of Tears" star, Kim Ji Won.

In the latest Chum-Churum commercial, the actress dazzles as she shows off her beauty and charm.

Fans and netizens flocked to social media as they gushed over Kim Ji Won's latest project.

To recall, the previous ambassador for Lotte Chilsung's Soju Beverage was Han So Hee. However, amid the controversy involving Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri, the "My Name" star was dropped from being the brand's endorser.

The reason behind this was that her contract with Chum-Churum had expired, but instead of renewing her, they replaced Han So Hee with Kim Ji Won.

At the time, a report mentioned a statement from a Lotte Chilsung official noting that they were looking for a celebrity that would match the brand.

"It is true that we are reviewing various options regarding model selection with open possibilities as in the beginning, but there is nothing to confirm at this time."

Before Han So Hee, Chum Churum's endorser was BLACKPINK's Jennie.

As for the brand, they considered the "Nevertheless" star as their endorser because of her connection and active communication with fans.

Kim Ji Won Steals Hearts As Hong Hae In in 'Queen of Tears'

Her K-drama "Queen of Tears" is a huge success, as Kim Ji Won plays as the heiress, Hong Hae In, a third-generation chaebol and the granddaughter of the Queens Group family.

Since the show's broadcast, the actress has been getting a lot of positive feedback, noting her amazing chemistry with Kim Soo Hyun, who plays as her on-screen husband, Baek Hyun Woo.

Currently, the tvN rom-com series is the most watched K-drama, garnering a whopping average nationwide rating of 21.625 percent, the highest viewership since release.

In addition to this, Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun's drama became the first tvN drama to surpass 1 billion views.

Now in its final week, viewers will surely be tuning in to the "Queen of Tears" finale episodes as they follow the chaotic yet fun marriage of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In.
