Park Jung Min, who stars in Coupang Play's first original k-drama Newtopia with BLACKPINK's Jisoo, showcased his impressive weight loss with a video explaining the rigorous process he underwent.
Park revealed how he dealt with sadness in light of his appearance on Yoo In Na's radio show "You In Radio."
At first, the actor resorted to gaming but explained that it frequently aggravated his mood.
Instead, he turned to running to get in shape for his role in the action movie Humint for both therapeutic and weight-loss purposes.
"These days, I am trying to lose some weight for a photoshoot in the near future," Park said.
"I started running. It's been roughly three months, yeah. I wish I could say I was an Olympic athlete, but the truth is I run about six miles (ten kilometers) a day."
"My head clears when I run. At first, it was challenging. It used to be difficult, but now I can do it when I feel like I need a boost," he said.
"I can run six miles and don't even have problems with my mood."
